Teamspeak server maintenance coming…

In an effort to make things better, I’ll be needing to take the Teamspeak server down to upgrade the operating system and insall a new bag of tricks. So if you get booted for a short time in the evening, don’t flame me.

I want to get it done before the weekend so that everyone will have access during the times that more people are on. (Fri-Sat-Sun)

On tap for the upgrade:

  • Linux Ubuntu
  • Teamspeak 3 (Teamspeak 2 will remain until TS3 server is tested)

Can’t wait to show you guys the new options for the new wesite as well… It’s gonna be so much better…

Trying to get some additional interaction here leading up to the new site and Teamspeak… They appear at random in the right side of this page, so hit refresh to change them up…and submit your answers… as I am wondering about 64bit Vista/Windows7 as well as DX10…

The position of all the stuff on the right of this page will be rearranged with the new site design, don’t worry… It will be much more easy to read/navigate/interact…

It’s not nearly complete, as I have alot more visual details to add, but I cracked open the texture files from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and created this: (click for larger)

Report from the frontlines… Battlefield Heroes Beta

Ummmm….. no way this one will ever become part of our roster. Definitely aimed at younger players, but just as frustrating as the trusty Battlefield franchise. You play 3rd person view, which makes it tough to do anything… fly, drive a tank, aim, etc. I’ve only played for two hours or so, and tried 3 classes in that time. You also have to buy alot of the cool stuff, unless you want to spend countless hours ranking up. Even then, you lose the item after time… There’s also these freakshow costumes people can buy… like pirates, ninjas in white, etc. Way too “kidsky” for me… give me realism…
