Just do a search for Forge and it should pop right up. There was an issue with the master server yesterday that kept it from working properly. Thanks all.

It’s finally here! I wanted to invite all you guys to come play on the BF3 server that I’ve paid 3 months on. I don’t want any money, because this server is part of a ministry I’m running called Forge LAN, basically a Christian LAN series in Ohio. Rules are pretty straight up, show resepect and keep the swears on the negatory. Even though it’s not branded with REG logos and names I want you guys to feel at home there, so let me know if there’s punks or if you guys need anything while on the server.  See you on the battlefield!

This is an excellent video overviewing what we currently know about the development of BF3. It highlights what has been confirmed versus speculated and does a great job of presenting clear and concise information.

In short, the confirmed facts are:

• This will be the true sequel of BF2
• It will use the frostbite engine
• It will have nice environment and lighting
• It will be on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox
• There will be a beta before October 12, 2011
• PC version will receive special attention to ensure no “console port” feeling
