imo, this game is more enjoyable than MW2. The BETA seems solid on the PS3 so far. This game on the PC? A definite step up to replace BF2

Quick Impression on the BETA so far (PS3)

Squads: Up to 5 man, pretty cool. You can spawn on anyone of your teammates. So far no Commander esque position.

Environment: BUILDINGS are DESTROYABLE MAN

Vehicles: Corrosive damage, you can shoot a wheel off and even armor on the tanks.

Classes
Engineer: AT and tank destroyer
Assault: Assault
Medic: Medic
Recon: Sniper & Spec Ops combined.
PLENTY OF NEW WEAPONS! You choose what kind of weapons you get. I do not know if there is a weapon customization.
You unlock “perks” just like in COD:4/6. You level up by your class (Killing Floor style)

Dedicated Servers!: Thought I should put it up there… FOR PC (PS3/360 still with automatch)

WTF? So, ok Operation Flashpoint was a let down for us because if it’s bugs and no dedicated servers now this?! Modern Warfare 2 denied of Dedicated Servers // Joystiq

I hope Infinity Ward knows what they’re doing with multiplayer because as of now, It doesn’t look good for MW2.

“When you want to player a multiplayer game on PC, in the past. You?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢d have to scroll through a Server Browser which listed every available server which was hosted by individual server admins. Each had their own private rules, mods, or ways of playing the game. Most players would also use the server browser to find just the best quality game (based on PING). With IWNET matchmaking, it takes all that into account for you.”

Hope they got Individual “Admin” for each servers. Good job on the work IW.
