It’s not nearly complete, as I have alot more visual details to add, but I cracked open the texture files from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and created this: (click for larger)

like it… add another troop in the back if you can.. looking towards this guy… so they look like they could be facing each other maybe. just an idea…. also, you better keep this title banner saved and linked somewhere on here for us as a nice reminder (reference)

Ok I just noticed the guy far back..hard to see in that size….
yeah… what will happen is the top image inside the punchout will change randomly with each pageload…. will start with a handful of screenshots from different maps… it won’t be static… and yeah, once it’s full size, there will be alot more details to it….
Oh, and this post was made “sticky”, so it will remain on the homepage, even with newer posts… another bene of the new WordPress package…
Since I got you here… would there be a way to make a members profile page…and an easier posting interface…(u know.. user pass for member section to allow us to view other member profiles and to post, otherwise you get what you see now on the webpage only)

an easier posting interface? How much easier can you get than the backend of WordPress with all the bells and whistles? If you mean this comment block, then yes, it is pretty basic, but the backend is much more robust. Yes, I need to work more on the profiles page and add to it, but JOOMLA is far too complicated for what we need… even for my clients its too complex… Let me get the new skin rolling, and I will work on the profile pages for each user to customize…
well…at least put a link for new posts for those with user/passes

I will rework some of this when I reskin…
very cool bullet effect… love the detail on the glass, looks pretty amazing. some sounds might be nice for each shot…and make sure the sound is pre-loaded with the page so it doesnt load after.

One final suggestion…
Instead of having it scroll with you..which might cover some text… have it fire only across the banner… (with sound..preloaded so its timed right after the page is loaded)…
Just an idea…
Yeah… I had it in a fixed position, but I thought it was slick to make it as though the bullets went through your monitor, and not fixed to the actual site when scrolling…
