Thursday Night: COD 4 with First Blood

I checked out FB’s server and they use COD4 PROMOD, which is cool. Basically it makes it easy to set up teams and reset matches etc. The problem is that the FB clan doesn’t play hardcore…at all. BRAVO offered to split it half and half, half HC half SC. Let me know what you guys think about that via comments.?Ǭ† Bummerrrrr

I was recently talking with BRAVO from First Blood and they are interested in playing (scrimming, whatever you want to call it) on Thursday night, 10PM EST. Post up a comment if you are able to be on with COD 4 that evening. They have a server, we’ll get you more details as they come up.

Going to need to take the site down a short while in the near future, as the newest version of WP has been out for a while and had the bugs ironed out. Should be some new features, and maybe even a twist to the design, if I have the time to do so. Will also be taking the Teamspeak server offline a short while as well, as I have to re-do some networking here at home again. Big changes coming for me on that front…

Hope you guys are doing well… Please continue to use the site to keep the rest of us updated on new games up and coming that we need to look out for. I am still praying for our saviour, where we can get back to the late nights of some great squad based teamplay and overall shennanigans…

Report from the frontlines… Battlefield Heroes Beta

Ummmm….. no way this one will ever become part of our roster. Definitely aimed at younger players, but just as frustrating as the trusty Battlefield franchise. You play 3rd person view, which makes it tough to do anything… fly, drive a tank, aim, etc. I’ve only played for two hours or so, and tried 3 classes in that time. You also have to buy alot of the cool stuff, unless you want to spend countless hours ranking up. Even then, you lose the item after time… There’s also these freakshow costumes people can buy… like pirates, ninjas in white, etc. Way too “kidsky” for me… give me realism…
