For everyone who has HL2, especially those who just got it with the Orange Box special this weekend, there is a mod out there that completely re-skins the game with HD models – the Cinematic Mod v9.51!

Here is a website with pictures of the mod.

There’s just one catch – the download is huge! At 9GB, this is a whooper of an update (hey, it’s HD, what do you expect?). Still, I’m gonna pick it up, and I encourage those of you with newer rigs to do so as well. So, you download the Cinematic Mod 9 Base files and the HD addon, then the 9.51 update.

Hop on tonight to play some COD4. It doesn’t really matter where, but it sounds like the majority of us out there really don’t want to play anything but hardcore mode, and I’m one of those people. Even if we don’t get a scrim going with FB, we can still have a lot of fun crashing a server. As a side bar, we had a COD4 server at one point, perhaps if we get enough people pubbing/scrimming on a regular basis we’ll have the demand for a server of our own again.

 I posted up in some forums, namely texas team players and GH1S, it looks like we might be able to play some GH1S guys in HC tonight, but I still have to talk to them tonight and see what’s up, might not happen because of short notice.

 Point being, hop on tonight to play some and at the least say hey.
