Frontlines:FOW PC Demo released (dear god did that take long enough?)

Skirmish - Clueless
Skirmish
Clueless

As was expected, this was delayed from a previous release date of MARCH 11, 2008. (WTF??? o.O)

It’s a 1.8GB file, which I am downloading it to see how bad it probably is, and how little had changed from the open beta we played for 6 weeks without a viable update/build… but for those interested:

PC Multiplayer Demo Officially Released!

Well I dunno about anyone else, but the whole thing still feels really “clunky” to me… The load times were a bit faster, but the overall animation and motion just still seemed… half-assed. Just as it was in the beta. Especially the vehicles… I only played for a half hour or so, but as expected, oilfield was nothing but people driving jeeps from the other team all the way into our base and stealing the chopper, or tank, or whatever they could get their hands on. Oilfield is just way the hell too small for aircraft.

    *SIGH*

    The search continues…

Hey guys how’s it going? Sounds like this game is gonna be one more dissapointment. I’m still stuck on this damn ship. I’ll see yall in game by the end of August. If yall want shoot me an email, my ship email address is the one I left with this post.

How about the next COD? That looks somewhat promising.

Well.. I dunno… are we going to be able to go back to WWII type weaponry? The whole flood of WWII type games a while back really burnt it out for me. But I guess at this point, if the graphics are as good or better than COD:MW and the multiplayer is good (with big maps) then it might be a good fix. Still going to miss circling a base in the Apache and bringing down the hand of god…
