Hey Reg’s, I would like to know if and how many of us would like to have our own server. I will set it up and we can have a few of us admin. We can put a link on the web site to take us to a donation page. We can run a 20 slot server for about $40 a month.We will be paying on a month to month basis.?Ǭ†?Ǭ†?Ǭ†The more of us onboard = less per month per person.and yes we will change the name.?Ǭ†Let me or Sarge know how many of you are interested. Nah skirm i think we are all leveled headed in the group we got running right now!!! We got a good group of guys.Plus we got to welcome LANDREWS and DEVIL to COD 4.Gangs starting to all comeback so lets get are own hunting grounds set up.

well let us think about it
benefits of our own server
- we get to change rules accordingly
- we choose game modes and maps
- we have power over others that join the server
- no need of giving out IP’s the whole time
bad things that will make us cry about having our own sever
- $$$
- we have to make an extra effort of being on, even when we dont feel like playing COD4
- responsibilities… most of us hate those
and so, i am down for it, but only if we are really all going to be playing very regularly and trying to get our server started up early, because if thats not the case, then it isnt worth it
Yeah… think about it … gas is ridiculously costly, and whats the best way not to spend money on gas… don’t drive… and what should you do if you don’t drive… play COD… and whats the best way to play COD…. on your own server… so our own server will help us save money on gas!
haha, great point smotage. Play COD4, a cheap way to hang out with dudes and save on gas! An excuse women will love everywhere.
On a serious note tho, I’m definitely down. My Paypal is ready to support monthly. When we get the server, we could have like an informal “night” to be on, nothing crazy organized, just something to tell people when pubbing, like “hey we usually scrim on Thursday nights” or something like that. Also the name is clutch. Something people will want to join if they see it in a list, and want to favorite once they’re in it.

Let me address a couple of things. First, as one of the newest members I won’t presume any authority, but I think one of the most important things to keep in mind is that we all do this for FUN. Second is, that we should all agree to a simple majority rule to any server changes and we all respect final decisions. That said, it sounds like we have a majority,cool. I have already submitted a change down to 20 slots and to move the server to Chicago,sry west coast. We should prolly get together and discuss the name change and any other concerns or suggestions. Remember the key is to have “FUN”……..
…….sry, one more thing. I will post the web address for the donation page here as soon as the changes are made.
