They are handing out ET:QW BETA Keys to non-subscribers at scheduled intervals, and scheduled for today!!! You DON’T need to pay for an account. Just register with fileplanet for a free account, and it will give you access when they keys become available on the schedule. I’ll keep an eye out and send everyone an email if I see it open, but obviously they go fast.

Thats a load of crap. The minimum requirements are a pentium 4, 1 gig of ram, and I believe a 6800 Video card. I know damn well if your stuff supports BF2142 and Project Reality, it can more than handle this game. If you are using the link on that site I provided, don’t go by that. Just keep an eye on that page for when they post that non-subscribers can get a key… The step-by-step process with the game rig info on there is just for them to get decent machines on beta I guess…
Yeah, Im sure my rig is up to the task, but at the screen that asks what you are running I put in my real stats. Now it just takes me back to the subscribe screen. The lesson here is to lie people!

Yeah, if you can handle an unpatched BF2, you will be able to rip through ET.
They appear to be starting them at 9am PST… Who all has received theirs? Also, how fast do these things move?
I’m back in Colorado, but I’m not going to be able to be on at the time it will open up. Is there any way to get a key for a friend, or use their account to get the key and get the files later?
If it’s possible to just get the key and come back for the download later, would one of you grab a registration key for me? Hmm, if the game feels and goes the way it is right now. I’ll just wait until we find a better game that would kinda/really/almost replace BF2 for us.
