They are handing out ET:QW BETA Keys to non-subscribers at scheduled intervals, and scheduled for today!!! You DON’T need to pay for an account. Just register with fileplanet for a free account, and it will give you access when they keys become available on the schedule. I’ll keep an eye out and send everyone an email if I see it open, but obviously they go fast.
At long last, we are delighted to confirm the impending Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Public Beta. The ETQW Closed Beta has been going extremely well and yielding excellent results. We want to give more people the opportunity to give us feedback on the game so we?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢re going to open a Public Beta with 60,000 slots available. This way we?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ll be able to test many more combinations of hardware, RAM, CPU, graphics card, drivers etc. than we?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ve been able to ourselves, and also get a better idea of how the game plays for the general gaming public.

It requires a Fileplanet account which is FREE, [ LINK ] and I have a support ticket in to confirm whether you must pay for a subscription in order to be a part of this 60,000 key BETA. 60,000 keys should be more than enough to allow ALOT of people to get in to it. It IS stating that you people with free accounts will have access, but I emailed support to confirm this, so I will let you know.

Not bad… but a larger map with vehicles, aircraft and campers… large spans of desert, perfect for getting your @ss crushed into the ground by a 2,000lb bomb from a jet while trying to get from one flag to another…

Now, this isn’t filtering the bots and such, so this is not all ‘real’ users, but at least there’s interest. I’m also wondering why there hasn’t been that many comments with this many users…
